In joining the community of Technology Pioneers (2018) Horizon State is part of the World Economic Forum’s initiatives, activities and events, bringing cutting-edge insights and novel perspectives to world-critical discussions.

The ultimate responsibility for all business-related functions in Victoria in regards to software, which includes sales, delivery, operations, finance, HR, marketing, and commercials. Tasked with the establishment of a new software branch in Melbourne from the ground up, the role includes a broad overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the software branch in Victoria in line with client contractual requirements, whilst overseeing the establishment and management of commercial commitments to customers.

Responsible for ~280 staff / 15 P&Ls @ $60m revenue, and for the day-to-day operational management across all branches in New Zealand. In particular, lead the service delivery teams to achieve a profitable outcome for the NZ business and be ultimately responsible for all services delivered by NZ. As an executive member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), contribute to the overall strategic direction of the business.

VICE PRESIDENT, PROJECTS & SOLUTIONS @ ADVANTECH

Head of PMO (Programme Management Office), Responsible for projects management and business development at AdvanTech's Microsoft division. Performed a parallel role as a CTO for several large customers providing executive-level consultancy to CXO's in regards execution in delivery, complex architecture design, security and software development.

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER @ NESS TECHNOLOGIES

Aug 2000 - Nov 2005

During 5 years at Ness Technologies, performed a vast range of roles: team leader, business analyst, development manager, product manager, project manager, architect,
.Net TOP consultant and eventually nominated as Chief Technology Officer for the outsourcing group (~3 years of experience as CTO). Specifically handled challenged (“at-risk”) projects and customers in regards to the technical aspects (architect, mentor) as well as the strategic aspects (risk management, project management and control).
